Well, only 3 weeks left until baby time. We have a date for the c-section, Feb 3. I am so very excited about this, and also worried about getting everything done in time. We still cannot agree on a name, and THAT is driving me crazy! Ella is very much anticipating the arrival of her very own baby and asks often when he will be “outâ€.
I haven’t taken on any sessions this month due to the pregnancy, but Ella insisted that we do a photo shoot of her last week. She loves being in front of the camera and I guess 2 weeks was too long of a break for her! We had fun playing outside in the beautiful Alabama weather.
We have also been busy bees getting the room ready for the baby. Previously, Ella shared her bedroom with my office, but with #2 coming we decided to move the office into the master bedroom and give the kids their own space. I am thrilled to have a kids’ space to decorate and I decided to do a nice, gender neutral Jungle theme. Ella and I have been painting a mural on the wall the past couple of weeks and I am really proud of it! It still isn’t done yet, but hopefully will be soon. Here are some pictures of our work so far.
I don’t know how often I will be posting until the baby is here, so I hope you all are enjoying your 2009 so far!

I totally spaced on posting last week! Ooops! This week I will make up for it with a ton of pictures. To start us off, this past week we had the biggest, brightest moon in 15 years. On Friday Night the moon appeared 14% bigger and 30% brighter than normal. I have always wanted to take a picture of the moon but could never find the motivation when it was out and full. Since Friday was a special occasion for the moon I decided to give it a shot. It was COLD, but fun and I got a great shot of the moon.
I also had a little photo shoot with Ella recently. She was a wonderful model and was very into trying different stuff with her arms and face. She was so fun to watch and shoot!
My last session for Christmas in November was with the S family. They have 6 awesome well behaved kids. Poor “A†is the only girl, but she keeps her own among the boys. I am going to post a ton of pictures, since there are so many people to show off. Mom and Dad are awesome, and I had so much fun photographing the kids. They all picked out their own outfits, and definitely managed to infuse their personality into each of the shots. It was a great and wonderful November; I am looking forward to a little break in December. Happy Holidays everyone!
